Ally Miller of the Marquette women's soccer team, who was named to the 2009 BIG EAST All-Rookie Team, was mentioned in a TopDrawerSoccer.com article as sophomore to watch during the 2010 season.
Below is what TopDrawerSoccer.com had to say about the Mequon, Wis. native.
Ally Miller, Marquette: Coaches always talk about having players on the field that can play multiple positions. They say in an ideal world, they don't want a defender, or a midfielder or a striker, but a "soccer player." Miller is a soccer player. She played a lot in the midfield with FC Milwaukee prior to her freshman season but found her minutes for the Golden Eagles as a defender. She has good size and earned a ton of minutes during a season that included the NCAAs. Miller is an interesting case and all bets are off in her future. She could just as easily end up being an all-conference defender or midfielder.
