At the Marquette University track and field Alumni Run on Saturday, Aug. 28, former head coach and 2009 M Club Hall of Fame inductee, Jim Allen, was able to sit down and share his memories of his time spent at Marquette.

While speaking with Robbie Shimp of Marquette Radio, Allen recalled following in the footsteps of his brother, Bob, as a student-athlete at Marquette, his meeting with Al McGuire when he was first offered the head coaching position and ultimately his years as head coach overseeing the growth of the program.
