The Marquette University women's volleyball team is 97th overall in the first Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) of the 2010 season, released Monday, Oct. 4 by the NCAA.

The Golden Eagles currently sit sixth in the BIG EAST Conference in RPI behind Cincinnati (21), Syracuse (70), Villanova (73), Notre Dame (75) and Louisville (90).

MU's ranking assuredly took a hit following the team's 0-2 start to conference play without the services of all-conference outside hitter Ashley Beyer.
