Legendary basketball player and sports announcer Bill Walton has given us permission to print his eulogy of former Marquette star Maurice Lucas, who passed on Oct. 31, 2010. Walton and Lucas met in 1976 and later that year led the expansion Portland Trailblazers to a NBA title. They had remained close friends ever since. The final webisode of the Marquette Basketball: Revealed focuses on the importance of student support at each of MU's home games and what it means to the players. Beginning Friday evening, Sports32 and SportsNet New York will begin airing the series' final 30-minute program. The focus of the finale will be the Marquette-Wisconsin rivalry, beginning with the team's preparations and concluding with Sunday's game review.

A new feature in 2010-11 at Marquette men's basketball home games is the Heiser Automotive In and Win Car Drive Away, with the winner claiming a free two-year lease on selected featured models.
In just the fourth home game of the season, Ryan Agnew was able to drain the shot and claim the grand prize. Agnew is a 2008 graduate of Marquette in engineering and a season ticket holder. There are five Heiser locations in the greater Milwaukee area and the near 90-year-old company features Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Cadillac, Mercury, Lincoln and Scion. Agnew selected a 2011 Toyota Camry and will be driving the car for free for the next two years. The contest will continue throughout the rest of the season, even if multiple contestants are able to find the bottom of the net from 47 feet away. When Heiser Automotive says "Anything's Possible," they mean it.
