The spotlight of the NCAA Tournament awaits Marquette, says Joe Lunardi.
ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi released his latest projection of the 2011 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament bracket this morning. The renowned bracket guru currently pegs Marquette as a 10-seed and has the Golden Eagles facing 7-seed North Carolina in Washington, D.C.
Should Marquette win this theoretical matchup with the Tar Heels, they would face BIG EAST foe Connecticut for a chance at the Sweet Sixteen. According to Lunardi, if the season ended today, a record 11 BIG EAST teams would be going dancing.
