While the 2011-12 men's basketball season is more than seven months away, a number of national writers have already posted their "Ridiculously Early Preseason Top 25" polls.

Just for fun, here's where Marquette ranks in each...

No. 14 -- Andy Katz,
"Buzz Williams ... has a team that can compete for the Big East top five with the majority returning."

No. 17 --
"Keep those 3-goggles handy because the team that reached the Sweet Sixteen returns Darius Johnson-Odom and big man Jae Crowder, among others."

No. 18 -- Mike Henderson,
"Fresh off of a Sweet 16 run and a new contract for Buzz Williams, the Golden Eagles are ready to soar."

No. 19 -- Luke Winn,

No. 23 -- Gary Parrish,

No. 25 -- Jeff Goodman,
"Buzz Williams loses Butler, who was a terrific player. But his big men should take a step forward in their development and Wilson could become an impact guy after sitting out."
