He showed the ability to control the tempo of games, and capped off three good days of work with arguably the best goal of the combine on Tuesday, his 22nd birthday. 			</tbody></table><br />Mallace, who also celebrated his 22nd birthday Tuesday, scored one of three second-half goals for team adiPower in their 4-1 win over adiPure in the final match of the Combine. Mallace and adiPower finished with a perfect 3-0 record on the weekend.<br /><br />Although he hadn't had much time yet to reflect on the experience, Mallace said he cherished the opportunity to showcase his talents in front of MLS coaches and technical directors.<br /><br />"It was a privilege for me to play at the Combine," said Mallace, who has also garnered interest from professional soccer clubs overseas. "It's exciting because you don't really know what's going to happen [until Thursday]. So I'm just going to sit and see if I get drafted and decide what to do from there."<br /><br />Mock drafts (such as <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2012/1/8/2692333/mls-mock-superdraft-sb-nation-2012">SB Nation</a> and <a href="http://www.mlssoccer.com/superdraft/2012/news/article/2012/01/09/updated-latest-mlssoccercom-2012-mock-draft">MLSsoccer.com</a> ) have projected that Mallace will be a first-round selection. No MU men's soccer player has ever been selected in the MLS SuperDraft since the league was founded in 1993.<br /><br />Mallace said that he intends to watch the SuperDraft on live television in Milwaukee with his friends and teammates.<br /><br />There are a total of 19 MLS clubs that will select a total of 38 players over a course of two rounds. The expansion Montreal Impact will have the first overall selection.<br />

Former Marquette University Student-Athletes Barb VanLieshout and Katie Webb have been named to the WIAC All-Time Tennis and All-Time Women's Cross Country Teams, respectively.</p>

<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica">Van Lieshout was a member of the Marquette women's tennis team from 1982-1985, where she was the No. 1 singles player each season as well as playing No. 1 doubles in 1984 and 1985.&nbsp; The Menasha, Wis. native helped MU capture the WIAC Championship in 1982 and 1983, as VanLieshout won the WIAC No. 1 singles title both years and the No. 2 doubles title in 1982. VanLieshout posted a career singles record of 67-17 and doubles record of 66-15.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px"><br /></p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica">Webb was a four-time cross country All-American from 1981 to 1985 when she was a member of the MU cross country team. In 1982, Webb was the individual national champion at the national cross country championship and helped MU win the overall title. Webb also participated in track and field during her time at Marquette, she captured the NAIA outdoor 10,000 meter crown in 1985.</p>
