Join the Birdcage Brigade

Marquette Soccer invites ALL students to be a part of the Birdcage Brigade -
the loudest and most intense fans at Valley Fields! There's no need to sign up,
just make it to as many games as you can, stand in The Birdcage and cheer till you drop!
Here are a few suggestions, but be as creative as you can!

Tradition:
Meet at the gate house tunnel 15 minutes prior to kick off.
Collect as a group and walk into the Valley singing.

Avoid:
Swears at the players (not only is this not cool, everyone else does it at other schools,
be original). We are higher level fans than that.

Game Protocol
Opposition Goal Kick- Escalating noise into "WOOOOOOHHH" and then burst into laughter.
MU Goal Kick- Remain very quiet and then "BOOOM!" as it is kicked.
MU Corner Kick- Bounce, make noise, and swing scarves.
Call out players that are doing well in unison until they acknowledge us.
