Stand upright with the feet staggered. Arms should be extended with palms facing away (backwards).
Raise arms forward and upward until they are slightly higher than parallel tot he floor, pause momentarily for one second at the midrange, then lower arms to starting position.
Face the lifter with one foot forward and apply resistance on top of the wrists by cuffing the wrist. As the lifter raises his/her arms, the spotter may step away from the lifter, and then back in again during the lowering phase to allow for full range of motion.
Points To Emphasize
1. The arms should remain extended at the elbow throughout the exercise.
2. Pressure should be applied on top of the wrists throughout the entire exercise.
