Muscles Used Primary: Tibialis Anterior
Starting Position Sit on the floor or bench with your legs extended. Keep your back straight and head up.
Description Flex the ankles (pulling the toes towards your chest).
Spotting Apply resistance on the top (dorsal) side of the foot.
Points To Emphasize 1. The lifter is always pulling the toes towards his/her chest. Inversely, the spotter is always pulling the foot away from the chest.
