Muscles Used Primary: Infraspinatus, supraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis
Starting Position Standing with one shoulder into the wall and the other shoulder facing out. Relax the arm agains the wall and place the other arm at a 90-degree angle.
Description Push the arm away from the body.
Spotting Provide Resistance on the outside of the hand or wrist. With the other hand, support the exercisers elbow (keeping the elbow close to the body).
Points To Emphasize 1. Keep the movement slow and controlled.
2. The lifter is always pushing the arm away from the body.
