Frisone has coaching experience as well, with a stint as assistant football coach at Ramapo College in New Jersey (1991-92) to his credit. Prior to that, he was the assistant athletic director at the highly respected Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia for two years.
"It is very exciting to be a part of the great academic and athletic tradition at Marquette University," Frisone said of his appointment. "As someone who has made a career in athletics and fund raising, I look forward to working with loyal Marquette alumni, parents and friends to reach new heights for the athletic advancement program."
Frisone earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1989 from the University of Rochester. He went on to obtain his Master of Education in Sports Administration in 1992 from Temple University. His family includes his wife, Nancy, and son, Matthew.
