Starting Position Line the knee joint up with the machines axis of rotation with legs straight in extension. If seated, adjust the back pad to line knee up and adjust leg pad so it is above the ankle. Secure legs under pads and grab handles.
Description Bend knees as far as possible using the pads. Pause momentarily and then recover to the starting position.
Spotting Be prepared to assist at the movement arm of the machine.
Points To Emphasize 1. Don't let the hips pop off the pad when lying, this puts stress on the lower back
2. Make sure to use the seat belt when seated.
