Marquette Earns Recognition From NACMA For Radio Commercial

Cleveland, Ohio - The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has recognized Marquette University Intercollegiate Athletics with the selection of its 2007-08 award winners.

MU was awarded the Bronze Medal in the radio commercial category for its advertisement promoting the Golden Eagle men's basketball program. The "Where Were You" commercial was a key component in the promotion of the season ticket campaign.

The winners were presented their awards Tuesday, June 10 at NACMA's 17th Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas.

Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 18 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness. A total of 1300 entries were received for the 2007-08 year.

Marquette has claimed at least one accolade every year since the inception of the program.
