ORLANDO, Fla. - The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators honored Marquette University for its efforts in marketing and promotions with three awards on Friday, June 17, during NACMA's 20th Annual Convention in Orlando, Fla.

Marquette's promotional t-shirt design, honoring Rev. Robert A. Wild's tenure as the University's 22nd president, received gold for a first-place finish. Marquette's Brand Marketing Creative Director Tim Raasch designed the t-shirt that was given out to students at Father Wild Appreciation Night on Feb. 19 for the men's basketball game against Seton Hall.

Marquette's website received silver in the sales piece category and was designed by row27, based out of Minneapolis, Minn. The website was designed for customers to buy their tickets online in a step-by-step manner as if they were on the phone with a sales representative.

A three-month long season ticket sales campaign, which consisted of online advertising, the website and outbound sales calls, received bronze in the season ticket sales campaign category.

NACMA has recognized Marquette 17 times since 2003 and its three awards this season led the BIG EAST Conference.

Awards are presented in 16 categories and more than 782 entries were received for the 2010-11 year.
