MILWAUKEE - Marquette athletics registered another successful week on the field, court and the course. Cassie Peller and Jayne Grebinski of the women's cross country team finished 1-2 on the four-kilometer course, and Scott Mueller, Kyle Saginus and Brent Des Roches placed 2-3-4 in the men's six-kilometer race to kick-off the 2006 season at the Illini Open. In other action, the women's soccer team remained undefeated with a 110-minute marathon, tying Drake, 0-0, Friday afternoon, while the volleyball team tallied its first victory of the season at the Al McGuire Center, defeating Loyola (Ill.) on Sunday, 3-0.
