The 2011 Blue & Gold Fund Auction, which was held Friday night at The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, raised over $100,000 in support of athletic scholarship aid at Marquette University.

Over 250 people attended the annual event, which was hosted by former men's basketball player Jim McIlvaine. The night included both a silent and live auction, as well as a blind wine purchase. The highest bid came on a spaghetti dinner with the Marquette cheerleading squad. A pair of dinners was auctioned off for $9,000 each.

The featured speakers included new lacrosse student-athletes Cullen Cassidy and Anna Muzika. Nearly 50 student-athletes volunteered to work the event.
