Marquette Basketball To Hold Fan/Future Fan Appreciation Open House
MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette basketball program will conduct a Fan /Future Fan Appreciation Night at the Bradley Center on Monday, Sept. 22. The Open House will run from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Coaches and players from the 2003-04 Marquette basketball program will be in attendance to sign autographs and greet the general public. People in attendance will have the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the 2003 Conference USA championship trophy as well as the 2003 NCAA Final Four Trophy.
The highlight of the evening will be the unfurling of the 2003 NCAA Final Four Banner as well as a short presentation by Marquette Head Coach Tom Crean. Tours of the Bradley Center will be conducted and there will be other activities to take part in such as face painting and Pop-a-Shot competition.
Potential season ticket holders will be able to view available seat locations for the 2003-04 season and Marquette Athletic Department Ticket representatives will be on hand to provide assistance as well as answer any questions. Also in attendance will be the Marquette Dance Team Intensity and the cheerleading squad.
"The Fan/Future Fan Appreciation Night is a great way to recognize the fans that have supported us in the past while encouraging potential fans to come out and meet the team and learn about the Marquette Basketball Program," stated Head Coach Tom Crean. "Our goal from when we first got here was to sell the Bradley Center out on a consistent basis. We've made some great progress in achieving that and we want to keep building momentum in making the Bradley Center the premier college basketball venue in the country."
