Contact Aaron Baker
Aaron Baker enters his 13th year at Marquette University and was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management in July of 2013. In his current role, Aaron directly oversees game management for all sports and serves as the direct contact for men's basketball games. Baker also oversees all facility construction and improvement projects for the department and serves as the sport administrator for the Marquette track and field and cross country programs.
Baker has served a lead role in several NCAA tournaments and championships including acting as the Assistant Tournament Manager for the 2014 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship Second and Third Rounds as well as the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship First & Second Rounds in Milwaukee. He has also directed several BIG EAST Conference Championshps in women's soccer, volleyball and cross country.
He served as the Coordinator of Facilities and Event Management for three years before being promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in July 2007. Baker began his career at Marquette as an intern in the marketing department in July 2002 and he returned in 2004 after a year as a ticket manager and promotions coordinator at the University of California-Bakersfield. While attending graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Baker worked as the Community Relations Director for the Lacrosse Night Train, a member of the National Indoor Football League.
A native of Montana, Baker received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from the University of Montana in 2000 and Masters of Science in Sports Management from the UW-La Crosse in 2003.
Baker and his wife Billie, have a son, Tyson and a daughter Ava.
