Aaron Baker enters his 15th year at Marquette University and was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management in July of 2013. In his current role, Aaron directly oversees game management for all sports and serves as the direct contact for men's basketball and lacrosse game management. Baker also oversees all capital projects for the department, directing over $11 million in capital improvement projects for Marquette Athletics.

Baker has served a lead role in several NCAA tournaments and championships including acting as the Tournament Manager for the 2017 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds. He also worked as the Assistant Tournament Manager for the 2014 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship Second and Third Rounds as well as the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship First & Second Rounds in Milwaukee. Baker will also serve as the Tournament Manager for the 2022 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship first and Second Rounds. He acted as the tournament director for the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Regional hosted by Blackwolf Run Golf Course. He has also directed several BIG EAST Conference Championships in women's soccer, volleyball and cross country.

Baker served as the Coordinator of Facilities and Event Management for three years before being promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in July 2007. He began his career at Marquette as an intern in the marketing department in July 2002 and he returned in 2004 after a year as a ticket manager and promotions coordinator at the University of California-Bakersfield. While attending graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Baker worked as the Community Relations Director for the Lacrosse Night Train, a member of the National Indoor Football League.

A native of Montana, Baker received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from the University of Montana in 2000 and Masters of Science in Sports Management from the UW-La Crosse in 2003.

Baker and his wife Billie, have a son, Tyson, and a daughter, Ava.
