Peter Baran is in his second year on the Marquette athletics compliance staff. His current responsibilities including assisting the compliance department in overseeing Marquette's student-athletes, athletics staff, and boosters to ensure they follow NCAA guidelines.

He began his career at Marquette as an intern for the compliance office in January 2010 while a student at Marquette University Law School.

Prior to Marquette, Baran graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2011 as a Sports Law Certificate recipient from the National Sports Law Institute.

Peter received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Villanova University.

He currently resides with his wife, Kelly, in Wauwatosa, Wis.
