Sarah Bobert is in her 18th year on the Marquette athletics staff and oversees the student-athlete welfare and experience functions within the department.
In her position, Bobert's duties include oversight of the Academic Services, Sports Performance and Sports Medicine areas. Her duties as related to serving as SWA include managing gender equity compliance, oversight of the sport administration function within the department, as well as serving as liaison to select BIG EAST Head Coaches groups and BIG EAST Conference committees.
Bobert also serves on the University Title IX team as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator representing Intercollegiate Athletics and is responsible for Title IX compliance in matters involving student athletes, coaches and athletic administrators and staff through education and training, overseeing grievance procedures and assuring prompt and thorough response to all incidents of sexual misconduct.
Bobert is also the sport administrator for women's basketball, women's soccer and women's tennis.
Prior to joining the staff in October of 2000, Bobert worked at the NCAA. She served the NCAA since 1989 in a number of business related areas including acting as the Business Services Manager, Accounting Manager, and Senior Accountant.
Bobert earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Wis.-Stout in 1989 and completed her Master's in Leadership from Marquette in May 2017. She and her husband, Clark, have two children, Bailee and Cody.
