David Fornetti enters his second stint at Marquette University, and third year as a member of Marquette's Sports Properties staff, Learfield Sports. Fornetti is responsible for assisting local businesses and organizations with revenue generation, brand enhancement, recruiting and developing community-focused programs in an effort to support their sales and marketing goals.
Fornetti comes to Marquette with a wealth of experience, most recently serving as a marketing specialist for Frontier Communications. With Frontier, Fornetti managed their sponsorship relationship with the Durham Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. He was also responsible for conducting market research on the best procedures across the industries.
Fornetti has already spent time at Marquette, serving as a production assistant for the university, where he recorded and produced media to augment the University's goals.
Fornetti began his professional career at Time Warner Cable, where he assisted with facilitating the sponsorship with Marquette Athletics.
Fornetti is a third-generation graduate of Marquette, joining both of his grandfathers, his parents, as well as his brother and sister, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His younger brother is also currently attending Marquette. While at MU, Fornetti double-majored in advertising and psychology.
