Contact Kelli Florio
Kelli Florio joined the Marquette University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in early 2018 as an assistant athletic trainer, working primarily with the men's and women's cross country and track & field programs.
Florio joined MU from UNLV, where she also served as an assistant athletic trainer from Oct. 2016-Feb. 2018 with the women's track & field squad.
The native of Wichita, Kansas earned her bachelor's in athletic training from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas in 2012 and a master's of health education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2014. While at UNO, Florio worked with the Creighton University women's soccer and softball programs.
Upon her departure from graduate school and prior to her role at UNLV in 2016, Florio worked in several professional settings, including at a physical therapy clinic, high school, college and with an indoor professional football team. She has also spent time working at the College World Series and with the Omaha Diamond Spirit Summer Baseball League.
