Nicolle Lewis is in her third year at Marquette University as an Academic Counselor within the athletic department.
In her role, Lewis is the academic advisor for the women's basketball, women's soccer, and men's golf teams, and helps provide all student-athletes with strategies to achieve academic success. Lewis works closely with the student-athlete development and leadership programs by leading initiatives and programs for Marquette student-athletes. She oversees the MAGIS Mentor Program that was kicked off last year and aimed to assist high achieving student-athletes. Lewis also currently serves as the coordinator for the Academic Enrichment Coach program.
Prior to Marquette, Lewis worked at the University of Missouri as an Academic Coordinator. She worked closely with the women's basketball, women's tennis and and gymnastic teams, as well as Tutor Coordinator for all student-athletes. In 2015 she earned her doctoral degree in sport psychology from University of Missouri. Lewis also holds a master's of education in counseling psychology from University of Missouri.
Before her time at Missouri, Lewis played basketball at Illinois State University and earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2009 and master's degree in sport management in 2010.
