Mike Wittliff is in his third year as Assistant Director of Media Relations and fourth full time in Marquette's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. He serves as the primary contact for the women's volleyball, women's lacrosse and the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams. In addition to creating increased visibility for Marquette's athletic programs, he served as the Assistant Media Coordinator of the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship First/Second Roundsin Milwaukee. He is in his eighth year with the department overall, having served as a student assistant during all four years of his undergraduate career. During the summer of 2007 he served as a Marquette men's basketball ticket sales representative and spent time as a media relations intern with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2006. Originally from Port Huron, Mich., Wittliff received a bachleor's degree in public relations and history in May 2008. |
