For the first time in program history, the Marquette women's soccer team will play for the BIG EAST Tournament Championship on Sunday, Nov. 8. The Golden Eagles will take on No. 1 National Division seed Notre Dame at Morrone Stadium in Storrs, Conn., at Noon ET/11 a.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports and on BIG EAST TV, which will air locally in Milwaukee on Sports32.

The Marquette women's tennis team opened play at the Purdue Invitational Friday with three singles wins and four doubles victories in the last fall tournament of the season. Sophomores Paola Calderon and Gillian Hush and junior Christina Ruiz all tallied wins over Purdue.

The Golden Eagles will then welcome DePaul to the "Al" at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Friday's match against Notre Dame will be televised on a tape-delay basis by Sports32.
