2008-09 Marquette Men's Basketball Radio Network
ESPN 540 will once again serve as the flagship station for the Marquette men's basketball radio network in 2008-09. Steve "The Homer" True (playby-play) and former MU great Jim McIlvaine (color analyst) have the call all season long. Broadcasts begin with pregrame coverage 30 minutes prior to tip and conclude after complete postgame analysis. "The Marquette Basketball Hour with Buzz Williams," MU's weekly radio program, debuts Nov. 10 and will also be found on 540 ESPN from 6-7 p.m. CT on Monday nights (the show will not air when the game schedule conflicts). The Union Sports Annex will host four of the broadcasts (Nov. 10, Dec. 1, Jan. 19 and March 2), with the remaining shows airing from the 540 ESPN studios. Each of the game broadcasts are available online through Marquette's All-Access multimedia platform and "The Marquette Basketball Hour with Buzz Williams" will be archived into a podcast immediately after each broadcast and can be downloaded for free. Flagship: ESPN Radio 540 AM (Milwaukee)
