[11:24 a.m.] Congratulations to Bob Harlan who, on Friday, Nov. 20, will be one of six people inducted into the Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame.
Harlan, a graduate of Marquette University (B.S. Journalism, '58), served as sports information director at the school before embarking on a long, distinguished career in professional sports that included a 19-year stint as president and Chief Executive Officer of the Green Bay Packers.

Other inductees include Judith Sweet, Albert "Ab" Nicholas, Lee Kemp, John Powless and Barry Alvarez. This year's induction ceremony will be held at the Milwaukee Theatre, 500 W. Kilbourn Avenue. A "Walk of Fame," featuring plaques of all Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame inductees is also located downtown Milwaukee, outside the U.S. Cellular Arena.
Inducted to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 2004, Harlan has spent nearly 40 years with the organization where he currently serves as Chairman Emeritus on its board of directors.
After Marquette, Harlan also served as director of public relations/community relations for the St. Louis baseball Cardinals following a brief tour of duty in the U.S. Army.
