MILWAUKEE – Roughly 300 people attended the mid-season Blue & Gold Athletic Scholarship Fund Basketball Luncheon Thursday afternoon at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Milwaukee.

The voice of Marquette basketball, Steve “The Homer” True served as master of ceremonies, while Marquette University Vice President and Director of Athletics Larry Williams was introduced to the crowd. Following a break for lunch, head coach Buzz Williams spoke on the generous support of the Blue & Gold Fund’s donors and Marquette basketball’s prospects for the remainder of the 2011-12 season.
