2012-13 Benefits Chart

The goal of the Blue & Gold Fund is to raise $3.7 million from 4,664 donors in the 2012 - 2013 academic year. Marquette sponsors 16 varsity sports and provides scholarship funding to over 175 Marquette student-athletes.

Currently, Marquette funds the equivalence of over 95 full-tuition scholarships on an annual basis. However, the NCAA permits Marquette to offer the equivalent of 135 full athletic scholarships and we have not yet reached our potential to maximize our aid to our student-athletes. With your annual support, we can reach our goal to fully fund all 135 scholarships.

In recognition for your support, Blue & Gold Fund donors are invited to social gatherings throughout the year, including the annual Blue & Gold Fund Auction.  In addition, you will also receive the Blue & Gold Fund newsletter.

The Blue and Gold Fund relies heavily on the financial support from generous donors like you.  When you contribute to the Blue & Gold Scholarship Fund, you are not only supporting our student athletes in the classroom, but giving them a bright future as well.   Whether you are a long time member of the Blue & Gold Fund, or a prospective first time donor, your support is vital to our success and we thank you for our support. 

Consider some of these scholarship costs. 

• $715 per month for student-athlete housing
• $6,440 - the cost for student-athlete housing for an academic year
• $1,875 - one summer class at Marquette
• $3,720 - meal plan/meal money
• $3,750 - two summer classes at Marquette (NCAA minimum for incoming SAs)
• $16,405 - cost of tuition for one semester

• $43,664 - cost to finance a student-athlete's education at Marquette for the 12-13 academic year

Hospitality Room Benefit For Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holders
Blue & Gold Fund donors who also have men's basketball season tickets can receive access to either the Courtside Club or the Blue & Gold Room based on their current fiscal year giving (July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013).

These hospitality rooms allow donors to engage in conversation with fellow Marquette Basketball enthusiasts, take advantage of amenities such as the fully stocked cash bar, pre-game snacks and televisions showing other basketball games from throughout the country.

The Courtside Club is the hospitality room located on the west side of the Bradley Center near gates C and D. The Courtside Club is available to anyone who contributes at $2,500 annually. Donors receive two season passes for every $2,500 donated during the current fiscal year (July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013). The number of Courtside Passes will not exceed the number of season tickets per account.

The Blue & Gold Room is located in the East, inner lobby of the Bradley Center near gate B and is available for current annual fund donors at $350 and above (July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013). The number of Blue & Gold Room Passes will not exceed the number of season tickets per account.
