Preferred Season Ticket Pricing and Benefits

Preferred seating is available to everyone and is not based on the priority points system.

The Blue & Gold Fund offers over 400 Preferred Seats for Marquette men's home basketball games at the Bradley Center. Preferred Seats are located courtside in sections 103 & 104, in the first four rows of sections 200, 201 & 227, the first six rows of sections 213, 214 & 215, and newly added seats on the end court in front of section 102. Preferred seating is available to EVERYONE and is NOT based on the priority points system, unless requesting an upgrade in ticket location within the Preferred section.

Preferred season ticket holders have the option to renew their same seats each year as long as the required per seat donation is contributed to the Blue & Gold Fund by the posted deadline. Preferred ticket holders receive special benefits commensurate with their level of giving to the Blue & Gold Fund as well. As always with Preferred seats, those donors who have held seats in the past have the first right to renew and keep their seats, or upgrade if they so choose, simply by making the per seat donation to the Blue & Gold Fund on an annual basis.

There is availability for the 2010-2011 basketball season. Please call the ticket office at 414-288-4668 for more information on seating options.

Preferred Seating Notes:

* The sole tangible benefit preferred seat holders receive is parking at the Bradley Center($90). This tangible benefit is not permitted to be claimed as a deduction under IRS guidelines. Parking location is not differentiated for holders of different seating levels; hence, the benefit for parking is the same at all levels. However many seats the ticket holder purchases, they still receive a single parking pass; again the benefit is the same at all levels.

** Blue & Gold Fund donations for each preferred season ticket purchased have a quid pro quo discount of 20% in accord with IRS 80/20 rule. In other words, 80% of the cost of each preferred ticket minus the cost of each parking pass ($90) is the appropriate tax deduction amount.

Example: You purchase two preferred seats with a $5,000 Blue & Gold Fund donation. The tax deduction will be the $5,000 Blue & Gold Fund donation minus the cost of the parking pass ($90) multiplied by 80%. You would be allowed $3,928 in tax deductions.
