2008-09: Did not compete in indoor season...Placed first in shot put with at the UWM vs. MU Dual meet with a season best and BIG EAST qualifying mark of 50-10.25 and threw a season best 124-00 in the weight throw...also placed third in discus with a throw of 134-10... At the UTEP Springtime Invitational, placed fifth in discus with a BIG EAST qualifying throw of 142-04...Placed thirteenth at the Wisconsin Twilight Meet with a throw of 139-04. High School: Carbajal was a four-time letterwinner in track and field at Prairie Ridge High School...Named team captain as a senior, while also earning team MVP award...All-state performer in the shot put and a state qualifier in the discus...Holds personal records of 57-9 in the shot put and 165-0 in the discus, both of which are school records...Was also a two-year letterwinner in football.
