High School:

Cheyenne Gray

Head Coach Bert Rogers on Gray:
"I think Cheyenne is a real untapped talent. She wore a lot of hats during high school, qualifying for the state meet in the 100 hurdles (second place), high jump and the 4x200 and 4x400-meter relays. I think being able to really focus and train for the hurdles is going to make a big difference for her."

High School: Gray earned four letters in track and field during her prep career, competing with Independence High School. During the 2009 season, Gray captured the state championship in the 100-meter hurdles and finished second at the 2010 state meet in 15.64 seconds. At the 2009 state meet also helped her 4x400-meter relay team to a fourth-place finish and helped her team place third overall. Holds a personal-best time of 15.49 seconds in the 100 hurdles and a time of 4:07.07 in the 4x400-meter relay. Also earned four letters each in volleyball and basketball and was a three-time all conference performer in both.
