Engelmann is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach. She works with the throwers.

A former student-athlete at Marquette, Engelmann competed in the triple jump and long jump. She was a three-time conference qualifier in the triple jump, and jumped a personal best of 38-2 during the outdoor season.

Engelmann also competed in the hammer throw during her last seasons at Marquette. She placed 2nd in the hammer throw during the 2005 Conference USA championships with a throw of 175'9".

Engelmann is a physical therapy graduate student after receiving a B.S. in human biology in 2006.
