Prior to Marquette:Frett earned four letters in track and field and three in cross country at Pewaukee High School during her prep career. In cross country, Frett captured her conference championship as both a junior and senior, placing 18th and second at the state meet in 2008 and 2009, respectively. In 2009, she also helped her team win the state meet. On the track, Frett has qualified for the state meet in the 1,600-meter run each of the past three years, in addition to running the 3,200-meter relay during her junior and senior years. While qualifying for the state meet, Frett captured conference titles in the 1,600 and the 3,200 meters as a junior and senior. Frett also earned three letters in basketball and was a first team all-conference performer in 2009-10.
