2010-11:Competed solely in the hammer throw during first collegiate season...Launched the No. 2 hammer throw in Marquette history on April 30 at the Stan Lyons Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind., with a mark of 187 feet, 1 inch (57.03 meters)...Captured a meet victory at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (April 2) with a personal best toss of 184-8 (56.28 meters)...Notched another then-personal best mark of 185-9 (56.63 meters) on April 22 at the Polytan Invitational...Placed ninth in 2011 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships...In first collegiate meet, notched the No. 7 mark in Marquette history in the hammer throw with a distance of 180 feet, 4 inches (54.91 meters) at the USF Open (March 11)...Did not compete during the indoor season ...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

High School: Hardin, a rare MU recruit from the Southeast, comes to the Golden Eagles from Acworth, Ga. (Carl Harrison High School) where he earned letters in both track and field and football...A Junior Olympics All-American, Hardin held personal records in the hammer throw of 213 feet, 5 inches and of 70 feet, 2 1/4 inches in the weight throw...Placed third in the 2010 Nike Indoor Championships and sixth at the NSIC High School National Championships...His weight throw of over 70 feet registered as the eighth-best distance recorded by a high school athlete in 2010.
