Joel Swanberg

Head Coach Bert Rogers on Swanberg:
"Joel has flown under the radar up to this point and I expect him to improve very quickly. Joel comes to MU as both a pole vaulter and a 110-meter high hurdler. He performed very well in just a few meets last year having his senior year cut short due to an ankle injury. With his size and ability level, Joel has the intangibles to become a high-level performer on both conference and national stages. In addition to the strong, young talent of John Kaplan and Vinny Martello, I feel that Joel will round out a very steadily improving men's pole vault group."
