Prior to Marquette: Kemmerer was a two-time team track and field captain while earning four letters in the sport at Holy Family Catholic High School...In 2010, she was named the athlete of the year and earned all-state track and field honors each year at Holy Family...During the 2009 season, Kemmerer helped the Fire to a sub-sectional championship while leading the 4x100-meter relay squad to a state championship...She also defended the 4x100-meter state title in 2010 with a time of 49.01...Finished eighth at the state meet in 2008 in the 200 with a time of 26.32...Is the school-record holder in the 400 with a mark of 1:00.09...Kemmerer was also a four-year letter winner in volleyball and was a three-time all-conference honoree in addition to earning team most valuable player and academic all-state honors as a senior.
