Marquette's track & field athletes not only have to focus their preparations on the 2013 BIG EAST Championships, but have to balance that with looking ahead to final exams.
2011-12: Indoor (Fr.): Competed in three events during the indoor season, primarily the 60 m and 200 m. Ran a 7.16 personal-best at the Milwaukee Dual (Jan. 20) receiving fourth and achieving the tenth all time record in program history... Placed sixth at the Blue and Gold Invite (Dec. 2) running a 7.23... Earned a personal-best in the 200 with a time of 22.97 at the Blue and Gold Invite placing sixth... Received another personal best at the Milwaukee Dual in the 300 with a time of 38.38 earning seventh place. Ran in the 4x400 relay with Ross, Stengel, Winter at the Bill Bergan Invite (Jan. 28) for a time of 3:20.31... Anchored the 4X400 at the Blue and Gold Invite (Dec. 2) with Kemmerer, Schmitz, and Winter for a time of 3:22.89... Member of the distance medley relay with Ross, Schmitz, and Senefeld that took seventh at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships (Feb. 18) with a time of 10:03.43...2012 Indoor Performance List. Outdoor (Fr.): Ran the 100, 200, and 400 m races during the outdoor season... Earned a personal- best in the 100 at the Lee Calhoun Invite (Apr. 14) with a time of 11.17 and 11th place... Took fourth at the Marquette Invitational (Apr. 28) in the 100 with a time of 11:20... Saw a personal-best in the 200 at the Lee Calhoun Invite achieving a time of 22.62 for an 11th place finish... Ran the 400 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational (May 11) recording a personal-best of 50.21. Ran in the 4x400 medley relay with Kemmer, O'Brien, and Winter in the BIG EAST Championship to a time of 3:16.01... Sprint medley relay recorded a 3:30.30 time at the Lee Calhoun Invite with O'Brien, Kemmerer, and Winter...2012 Outdoor Performance List.
