Michael Erb is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Marquette track and field program. Erb's coaching focus is the long jump, triple jump and multi-events.
Erb most recently was the head coach of the cross country and track field squad at the University of Redlands, in Redlands, Calif. He took the men's program from a last place conference ranking to consecutive top-10 finished at the NCAA Championship meet in 2006 and 2007.
In his five seasons at the University of Redlands, Erb coached 152 All-Conference performers, had 26 conference champions and 20 NCAA qualifiers, eight All-Americans and had four National Champions.
Erb received his masters in Higher Education Administration in 2005and a bachelors degree in Environmental Science.
