Head Coach Bert Rogers on Porter: "Brendan likely has the fasted 400 time coming out of high school as any recruit we have had here, and certainly the fastest during my tenure. He defiantly has the tools to be one of the best 400 runners to attend Marquette and should make an immediate impact on the BIG EAST. Unfortunately a quad injury early in his high school season wiped out his senior year, but he is now healed and hard at work getting ready for the season. I am excited to start working with him this fall."

Placed eighth at the Florida state meet as a junior ... Missed entire senior year due to injury.
