High School: Pugh was a two year letter winner in both cross country and track and field at Rufus King High School...Served as team captain during senior year in both cross country and track...Helped the Generals' 4x800-meter relay squad become the first Milwaukee Public School to qualify for the state meet...In 2007, helped the cross country team to a fifth place finish at the Wisconsin state meet...Also helped 2007 cross country team become the first squad in conference history to record a perfect score...Qualified for the 2008 AAU and USATF Outdoor Nationals in the 4x400-meter relay...AAU coach was 2008 MU assistant coach Ken Hunt.
