Competed in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter races ... Achieved second place at the UW Parkside Classic in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:58.70, a personal best ... Also placed sixth at the Wisconsin SHELL Shocker in the same event (9:24.38).
Cross Country (Fr.):
 Competed in the 4.98-mile run, 5k and 8k runs for his freshman cross country season ... Placed top-25 at Fremont Hill and Bale and UW Parkside Midwest Open in the 4.98-mile run with a time of 27:31.6 ... Placed top-100 at the National Catholic Cross Country Invitational in the 5k (27:14.9).

Prior to Marquette: Lettered in both track, cross country and ice hockey at Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School in Indianapolis … Was part of the first two teams in school history to qualify for the state meet, leading his team to a fourth place finish as a junior and fifth as a senior … Was named to the IATCCC All-State 3A First Team and earned IATCCC Academic All-State Honorable Mention … In track, led team to four-straight Hoosier State Relays 1A-3A State indoor championships.

Personal: Dvornik was born in Indianapolis, Ind. and is the son of Scott and Joan Dvornik … Mother competed collegiately in cross country and track … Plans to study biological sciences.
