O'Brien and Emmer) to win the event and secure the dual meet victory over Milwaukee on Jan. 23...In addition to running the 500 and the relays during the indoor season, also ran the fastest MU indoor times in the 600 and 800, even recording two BIG EAST Indoor-qualifying times in the 800 with a top time of 1:53.34 at the Meyo Invitational...Ran the fastest MU times during the outdoor season in the 400 and 800 but fell less than half a second short of qualifying for the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in each...Finished eighth (7:58.87) at the BIG EAST Outdoor meet in the 4x800 relay with Peter Bolgert, Jack Hackett and Blake Johnson. High School: Winter was a four year track letterwinner at Kettle Moraine High School...Was a first-team all-state performer in the 4x400-meter relay in 2008...In 2008 was the state runner-up in the open 800 meters...When he left Kettle Moraine, held the school record in the open 800 (1:52.72) in addition to the 4x400 and the 4x800-meter relays...Competed at the 2009 Nike Outdoor Nationals, placing 20th in the open 800 with a time of 1:54.32...Placed sixth in the 2009 Midwest Distance Gala in the open 800 with a time of 1:52.72...Registered a best time in the 400 meters of 49.5...A two-time captain in both track and soccer...Earned three letters in soccer....All-conference performer in soccer as a senior.
