MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's track and field team is ranked 25th in women’s collegiate dual meet rankings by the Track & Field News.

The Golden Eagles are a perfect 4-0 during the indoor campaign with dual meet victories over Wisconsin, Tennessee State, Milwaukee and Illinois-Chicago.

They defeated Wisconsin, 68.50-54.50, and Tennessee State, 76-59, at the Wisconsin Open on Jan. 17 in Madison and the Panthers and Flames last weekend.

MU topped Milwaukee and UIC at the John Tierney Triangular on Jan. 23 after taking the top spot in ten events. Freshman Cassy Goodrich won the 300-meter run in 39.56 seconds, tying a 14-year old program record set by Jennifer Batie on Feb. 16, 2001. Goodrich also won the 400 at the Wisconsin Open the week prior.

Out of the 25 teams ranked in week two, Marquette is the lone BIG EAST squad and one of seven undefeated teams to have competed in at least two meets.
