A total of 38 runners and nine jumpers will make the trip to compete in the near 60-team meet. Running events will continue till 7:30 p.m. as the men and women take part in the 4x400-meter relay.

Field events will begin at 1 p.m., with the throwers taking the stage first, while jumping events start at 3 p.m. and continue until the triple jump concludes at 6:30 p.m.

Cassy Goodrich, who was named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week from her performance at the Meyo Invitational last weekend, will run in both the 200-meter and 400-meter races.

Both squads are coming off successful weekends at the Meyo Invitation and Parkside Classic. The women's distance medley relay team, comprised of Jessica Parker, Goodrich, Jennifer Parker, and Kellie Greenwood, set a MU program record at the Meyo when they ran a time of 11:32.69 to take home top prize.

Goodrich, a freshman, also had a career performance in the 400-meter run by clocking a time of 55.18 seconds, which is No. 2 all-time in program history and the best time ever by a Marquette freshman.

In the women's 4x400-meter relay, the team of Arra Strong (57.5), Anna Strong (55.6), Harris (58.8) and Goodrich (56.6), turned in a time of 3:48.70, the third-best mark all-time.
