All-BIG EAST Recognition Awarded to 17 from Marquette

NEW YORK - Led by seven BIG EAST Conference indoor champions, 17 Marquette University track and field student-athletes were awarded all-conference accolades, the league announced on Friday afternoon.

Senior long jump champion Carlye Schuh led nine women receiving All-BIG EAST honors, as Schuh was the lone MU female to earn recognition in two events (long jump and triple jump). Freshman Joel Swanberg earned all-confernce honors in three events to lead the men, including in the heptathlon and 60-meter hurdles as event champion. 

All-BIG EAST recognition goes to student-athletes who finish in the top three of either an individual event or a relay at the Indoor Track and Field Championships.
