Each week throughout the 2012-13 indoor and outdoor track and field seasons, a men's and women's performance will be highlighted on GoMarquette.com as the Marquette Track & Field Performances of the Week.

MILWAUKEE - This week’s Marquette and Field Performances of the Week feature two athletes, junior Carlye Schuh and fifth-year senior Jack Hackett, who were key contributors in the dual meet against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on April 5.

Schuh continued to show her versatility and ability, as the Appleton, Wis., native accounted for 20 points in the meet, with individual wins in the long jump, triple jump, and 100-meter dash.  Schuh currently holds the outdoor program record in the long jump, the No. 4 mark in the triple jump, as well as the No. 5 mark in the 100 meters.

Hackett has the versatility to run anything from the 1,500 to the 10,000-meter run. On Friday, the Port Washington, Wis., native won the 1,500-meter race in a time of 3:59.44. Hackett won the event with an impressive, controlled race.

Theteam will hit the road next to compete in the Lee Calhoun Invitational in Macomb, Ill., on April 12-13.
