NEW ORLEANS – Marquette University’s Brittney Feivor, Cassy Goodrich, Kellie Greenwood and Kathryn Koeck were each honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as All-Academic honorees. The USTFCCCA also recognized the Marquette women’s track and field team with a scholar team award.

The Marquette women’s team made the list for the eighth-straight year and ninth time out of the last 10 years. They were one of 207 teams in the nation to meet at least a 3.00 cumulative team grade point average. Seven other BIG EAST schools were also represented on the women’s side.

Individual selection specifications are designed to combine both academics and athletics. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25, and have met either of the following athletic standards: For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top-96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top-48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org. For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).

Last year, Spencer Agnew, John Krzyszkowski and Omo Tseumah earned individual USTFCCCA All-Academic accolades, while the women’s team was recognized for the seventh-straight year.
