MILWAUKEE - Marquette University's Spencer Agnew, John Krzyszkowski and Omo Tseumah were named to the men's and women's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I All-Academic Track and Field Teams, the organization announced on Tuesday. The Marquette men's and women's track and field teams also earned team honors from the USTFCCCA.

Marquette's women's team was one of 208 in the nation to meet the cumulative team grade point average standard of 3.00, and its men's team was one of 116. Seven other BIG EAST schools represented the conference on at least one of the team lists, and three others (Georgetown, Villanova, Butler) also qualified for both.

Individual selection specifications are designed to combine both academics and athletics. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25, and have met either of the following athletic standards: For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).

Last year, high jumpers Sarah MacCourtney and Tatyana Pashibin earned individual USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, while the women's track and field squad was also recognized.
